1. Pregnant Individuals
Heat therapy and strong spinal pressure may not be safe during pregnancy.
2. People With Severe Osteoporosis
Fragile bones may be at risk of fracture or injury from spinal pressure.
3. Those With Spinal Fractures or Recent Back Injury
Includes:
- Recent falls
- Compression fractures
- Acute trauma
4. Individuals With Spinal Tumors or Serious Spine Disease
Anyone diagnosed with:
- Cancer affecting the spine
- Unexplained spinal lesions
5. People With Implanted Medical Devices
Such as:
- Pacemakers
- Neurostimulators
- Other electronic implants
- (Always consult the physician first.)
6. Those Who Recently Had Surgery
Especially surgery involving:
- Spine
- Joints
- Internal organs
Wait until full medical clearance.
7. Individuals With Severe Herniated Disc or Acute Sciatica
Mild discomfort may benefit from gentle heat, but acute or severe disc conditions require medical supervision.
8. People With Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure or Serious Heart Conditions
Infrared heat may affect circulation and blood pressure.
